It is always a joy to spend time with couples, exploring the City I love and grew up in.
My fiancé & I both met & studied at Oxford University, we are planning a trip back to Oxford, visiting old friends & would love to have our engament photos taken around the City, that hold so many precious memories for us both....
This is their Oxford LOVE story - told on a damp, grey Autumn day....
We first met up in Radclffe Square, early on a mid-week day, to a typically autumn misty, grey and damp day. Shooting around the mainly tourist areas first at around 7:30am, before moving to the quieter back streets of Oxford. Grabbing a coffee every now and then to keep ourselves warm!
You will always find a few cyclists around Oxford!
These sessions are always relaxed, focused on capturing your memories around my beautiful city
Following our little wander around Oxford, stopping off at a few of my favourite locations, we headed over to St. Cross College, to re-live the time they met & spent there during their time in Oxford together.
Having you engaement portraits taken at the Oxford college you studied at is such a wonderful experience abd adds an extra memory to your story...
To finish off we even visited their student accomodation in Jericho, Oxford... what a wonderful day and experience to share this couples
Love Story of Oxford with them....
Some lovely words from a google review by the couple:
"My fiancé and I met Neil for a pre-wedding shoot in Oxford. It was a wonderful morning taking photos in the beautiful city and getting to know Neil. It was our first time taking photos together like this, but we quickly felt comfortable with Neil, and it shows through the progression of the photos he shared with us. I highly recommend Neil not only for the quality of photos he takes, but also for his relaxed & inviting approach to capturing moments between loved ones.
We look forward to having an excuse to meet Neil for a photo shoot in Oxford again!"
No excuses needed that would be amazing!

A few frequently asked questions about your Engagement Portrait Photoshoot around Oxford:
How long do the photo-shoots last?
My engagement portrait sessions are very flexible, the minimum would be 1 hour. Depending on where you would like to explore within Oxford, sometimes these have previously lasted about 3 hours. I tend to use some tourist areas, but mostly the quieter areas of Oxford, very happy to discuss the locations you prefer to explore
What days of the week do you offer them?
Every day of the week.
When can we expect the photos to be shared?
You will get all the high resolution images supplied to you via a download link, no later than 2 weeks after the shoot.
For a 3 hour shoot you can expect around 100 edited images in colour, black and White & my own stylised Instagram look.
How much walking will there be?
There will be quite a lot of walking so it is important to consider comfortable shoes to wear between locations.
Can we go punting?
Yes of course, some couples have hired punts from magdalen Bridge but it is best to arrange this prior to the shoots as it can get busy especially in the summer.
What is the best time of day for the photo-shoot?
The tourist areas especially can be come very busy, especially in the summer months. During mid-week, Oxford can start to fill up from around 8:00am. Depending on your schedule I can be very flexible. If you are up for an early start so am I.... Oxford is magical when it is almost deserted!
